TOM FORD Bitter Peach Eau de Parfum

This stuff is magnificent, truly. Opens up with a juicy peachiness (reminds me of my grandmother’s candle, very good memory for me) that is completely balanced with boozy and woody notes.

As it dries down it gets even more delectable, I literally want to eat my arm with this stuff on it. Projection is mild, but thats what I prefer.

I dont know what it is about Tom Ford, but I just fall in love with almost every single one of his releases that I try.

All of this to say, give it a try, especially if you enjoy peach.

This smells like peaches. Unsurprisingly, this is a peach perfume. Don't stress yourself reading the reviews of what this smells like, because it literally just smells like a wonderful, ripe, juicy peach. Spray this and everyone will go *sniff sniff* "mmm... I think I smell peaches." Not even in the "I just cut open a peach and inhaled the flesh way", more of a, "oh yes. This is what peach candles, lotions, and body sprays smell like" way. Obviously much more Tom Ford style, but it really is just a big peach. All the other notes just support the different aspects of the smell of peach.

I couldn't even find it in me to try and look for other words to describe it, because even if I said stuff like "oh it's boozy, creamy, sweet, woody in the dry down, bitter in the opening, etc etc" none of that will matter because in the end, all that you and anyone around you will smell is a peach perfume.

I can't believe Tom Ford decided to discontinue fragrances as glorious as Plum Japonais for something like this.

Well, I just spritzed 1 Spray on my wrist today afternoon so let me give you a small review. The opening is slightly harsh - reminded me a lil of Thierry Muglers Angel, but that period didn’t last Very long. After that the peach is Very noticeable with some sharpness coming through - in this phase it’s Very intense, sweet and sharp - this lasts like an hour/hour and a half. Then its starting to get smoother and super fruity (i can smell peach and mango - Even tho it isnt there) which lasts the most time. It was just 1 spritz and I could smell it all day around me Even tho i wasnt smelling my wrist, so longevity and sillage is pretty good. Leans more feminine in my opinion. Overall it is a good fragrance and in my opinion a good adition to the line because its completely different than the other private blends.

So I just got a bottle today and sprayed it on a small spot on my arm. The first initial spray was decently harsh, could throw some people off. It lives up to the “bitter” in the name, but definitely isn’t horrendous, I actually enjoyed it. The main thing you smell is definitely peach, obviously. It’s very very realistic which is kinda crazy? It isn’t your typical syrupy or overly sweet peach, it’s like a peach you just picked, juicy, fragrant, and just perfectly ripe. I literally just smell a very juicy peach in this, and I’m not the biggest peach fan with fragrances.

As it dries down, you get a bit of extra freshness which is really nice. The sandalwood comes in for a good creamy bit of richness to it. I still think the craziest thing is how the peach actually stays the entire time. Usually a peach note would just kinda fly away after the first 15-20 minutes at most but it’s there the entire time.

I can say I thoroughly enjoy this. Performance is way better than Lost Cherry, and isn’t as thick or syrupy. It’s a lot more fresh and bright. This is a perfect summer or early fall fragrance. The only thing that keeps me from fully recommending is the price, but if you can get your hands on it, you won’t be disappointed. I absolutely love it.

My Bitter Peach arrived from Nordstrom New York City, and I am in LOVE!! I have 8-9 Tom Ford scents (my favs are Tobacco Vanille, Lost Cherry and Noir de Noir) and I am quite sure Bitter Peach will be in my top 3-4 fav scents.

Initial spray is strong and V E R Y peachy, almost peach rings candy peachy (good thing I happen to absolutely love peach rings ;) ) While the peach scent is very strong and almost realistic and very sweet, it is not a juvenile sweet.

Within 10-15 mins, the very strong and sweet peach candy note softens, and like magic...Bitter Peach warms up, softens and woody and balsamic notes take the wheel.

I was so nervous after that Fragrantica writer bashed Bitter Peach, and maybe it was done because of the stupid high price (yes, it is overpriced), but Bitter Peach is magical. I cannot stop smelling my arm. 1-2 sprays on my arm, and 4 hours later...it has softened but is still very there and smells even better.
