Dry, Woody almost aquatic Rose. This is smashing. I would say the main note that sticks out here is by all accounts: Rose. With that being said it's a light, airy rose with some dry notes (papyrus) definitely sticking out to me. It's lovely. I would say this Rose scent tracks more to the 'masculine side'; however, it is most definitely unisex and women of all types would and should wear this as well. This is a breath of fresh air - and boy is it uplifting.

Just gorgeous

A fresh rose beast. Not one iota of grandma’s potpourri in Rose Of No Man's Land, just a emotive freshly cut rose, still with dew sprinkled on the petals. Such a wonderful feminine fragrance that lasts for long enough to still detect it on your wrist after a day at work. Impossible to be offended by this masterpiece by Byredo. The dry down is exquisite, with woods and amber breaking through the rose vanguard, but never supplanting it completely. Just gorgeous.

What I admire about this fragrance is the story that lies beneath it. Unlike many other Byredo creations, that are devoted either to collective emotions (Mixed Emotions, De Los Santos, etc.) or sweet impressions from personal experience (Bal d'Afrique, Biblioteque and many others), Rose of No Man's Land throws us to the battlefields of the World War I. The horrendous landscape of craters, mud, blood, mangled tanks and corpses is what they call "no man's land". The "rose" would be a nurse carrying a wounded soldier away or at least holding him through his last hours.

The rose notes in the fragrance are expressive, but gently concealed by the rapsberry and papyrus. When I first heard the smell I could vividly imagine nurses calming down the injured and relieving pain with a light touch and strong medication. It's good they chose a Turkish Rose instead of a Damascus Rose, since the latter is, to my mind, way too earthy and easy to make an atrociously dark story.

So far I believe that it is the best perfume by Byredo. Definitely worth trying!

Well, there are two ways I can look at this scent. From one hand, it is definitely not particularly unique and is a bit redundant for some, I guess. From the other, though, it's a very nice and quality-made rose soliflore, and, for me, that is more than enough to like this thing.

Now, I have no clue if there's a raspberry bloom note in there because I don't really know the smell of it, but even if it is present it must've been smothered to death by a potent, yet never overwhelming Turkish rose(I get the very same rose variety as in Paestum Rose, which is Turkish as well). There is some peppery spiciness in the beginning, but aside from that, this scent is all about a very pretty, slightly(but really slightly) powdery rose laying on a decent woody-amberish base.

The way this rose is mannered is terribly unisex, even if without too much additions of any kind to modify it. Its projection is very tame after an hour or even less, but, as a skin scent, it lasts for a very long amount of time. I see this one as a fairly versatile scent, season-wise.

In order to love this one, a person really needs to appreciate rose a lot. In my opinion, this one is better than the other Byredo rose, Rose Noir. Also, it doesn't really remind me of Voleur de Roses because it doesn't have even a drop of patchouli. I like this one very much, and I find it slightly different in a crowded territory, mostly because of a different rose variety.

This is a perfect rose scent IMO. I've loved this scent since it came out and am just now getting to reviewing it.

It's a rose that truly is fresh and sweet at the same time. It opens green and sweet and dries ambery and warm. If the Rose in Chloe is too fresh for you, and the rose in Portrait of Lady is too intense for you, RoNML is your rose (also recommend Aerin Evening Rose for this middle-ground rose category that I love oh so much).

It's a medium bodied, sweet juicy, warm and intense (but not dark or heavy) rose. It feels like a warm hug. It has cleavage and curves.
