Description

Inspired by the celestial power of a meteor streaking across the sky, Météore by Louis Vuitton radiates dynamic energy and contemporary elegance.

Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud crafts a fragrance where sparkling citrus meets spiced complexity, creating an electrifying olfactory experience. The opening bursts with sun-drenched Sicilian mandarin, intensified by pink and black pepper, awakening the senses. The warm heart of neroli and nutmeg adds depth, leading to a powerful base of Java vetiver, balancing freshness with a smoky, ambery richness.

Météore is a fragrance of movement and ambition, capturing the essence of unstoppable energy and timeless sophistication.

amazing

This fragrance is amazing! Very pleasing and very clean. This fragrance is super long lasting and has a great sillage, which is well done for a citrusy fragrance. To give you an example: I accidentally sprayed some on my jacket and two weeks later I can still smell it every time I wear it. The more I smell it, the more I like this fragrance.

I wouldn't really compare it to an other fragrance as it is a unique scent, and no other scent will give you the same feeling or quality. A find most comparisons a bit like comparing pistachio nuts to hazelnuts: yes they are both nutty, but they are not the same.

To me, this scent creates a luxurious aura around you, very urban, very manly, yet very clean and pleasing.
This scent is going on my wishlist.

it smells so good

This isn't going to win many awards for originality but it is what it is and it smells so good. It garners many compliments too, if that's your bag.

This smells nothing like CK1 at all btw. To me it's 1/5th Platinum Egoiste, 3/5ths Percival, and 1/5th Chrome with all those jagged, spiky metallic edges smoothed over.

Performance is average but it smells so damn good.

Love it

I bought this for the office but ended up liking it more as a sporty, casual, day fragrance on weekends. The citruses blend into metallic, effervescent and slightly salty soapy florals. Performance is excellent. Overapplying can be suffocating - 2 or 3 sprays and I am done.

good perfume

Although I will say the opening is far more interesting than the drydown, I don't understand the hate for this one. I mean it is obviously overpriced. But the smell is fantastic and it lasts a very long time on your skin. I think the price is the origin of the hate for this piece. However, price aside this has a fantastic scent. Super refreshing, clean, a little sweet mandarin- pink pepper, neroli and amber blend.

good perfume

This a sort of a good perfume…

It’s sort of minty, it’s sort of creamy, it’s sort of peppery… it sort of lasts, and it sort of projects… therefore, it’s sort of good…

Don’t get me wrong, it has a delicious opening, it’s fresh, it’s citrusy, and it’s mass appealing… it’s like a lovechild between Imagination and Mefisto Gentiluomo… but instead of marrying those two worlds and crafting an absolute delight… Jacques Cavallier took a safer road and just created a nice perfume… that’s it, just nice…

Maybe if performance was any better it would have grown on me more, but by the second hour it was completely intimate, and by the fourth it was completely gone… in fact, by the time I started writing this review I had almost forgot the scent… I had to reapply in order to remember how it smelled.

And the saddest part is that it has a very likable opening, a really nice creamy citrus opening… but that’s it… after the opening is gone it just spirals into oblivion… and that’s the one thing you don’t want in any perfume, to be forgettable.

Good for warm weather, although it needs constant reapplying.

Nothing else to say…
