smells good

Expert blending, this is what makes me excited about the world of fragrance. Black Phantom is such a shining example of master-level craft. You’d think this would be repulsively sweet, but it’s so well-balanced it makes me smile.

Up top I immediately get the chocolate and silky-smooth caramel. Right there with the aforementioned notes is bitter coffee which keeps things leaning masculine. The dance these three notes do makes me want to give this concoction a standing ovation. Midway through the application’s life comes the sandalwood and almond, pure bliss. The late stages feel a bit more sugary and rum-based to me.

This stuff is strong, you need only apply 1-2 sprays. I did two the other day (from a sample bottle) and had a woman follow me through the grocery aisles to tell me how good I smelled. It also lasts and lasts, 10-12 hours on my skin.

Overall, I’m really satisfied, have I given that impression yet? I’m not usually into gourmands, but this will be the first full bottle of one I buy.

I am obsessed. This is for people who love almond, coffee, caramel and a bit of a smokiness.

How do I put this. Imagine licking melted caramel chocolate off the abs of a hot guy, while the cigarette in the ashtray is still dimly lit. A curl of smoke is rising to the air. Yeah. That.

Damn Kilian, why don't you just take all my money?? Sweet Jesus in the morn, this is gourmie heaven!

I got a sample of this with a Kilian order and told the SA to surprise me. Gaaaaaaaah, I wish she hadn't included this one! I seriously wanted to eat my arm when I tested it. I agree, it's not a groundbreaking gourmand, but if you're a huge gourmie lover, do try it. I mean, what's not to love?? Boozy, chocolaty caramel, anyone? It smells kinda like a cross between TM's Angel, Escada's Magnetism (minus the green top notes) and TM's Pure Tonka. Simply delicious!

Sillage and longevity are beast mode on this one, so go easy on the sprays. This lasted well over 10 hours on me with one spray. As for the price, yeah it's $$$$, but if you love it and it works for you, then indulge. Kilian is gonna have me in the poor house!

One of the most perfect fragrances out there. Totally unisex. If you only like ultra masculine fragrances this one is not for you. This is my favourite gourmand of all time. This is so sexy. I cant find enough words to describe this. And the performance is out of this world.This one will always make part of my collection. Nice job, Kilian.

Amazing scent, does not smell like Pure Tonka or the Salvatore, just the usual comparisons from people that seemingly don't have much experience with fragrances
