perfect

My gf wanted me to do a review cause she's about to finish her bottle. But it has a beast mode projection it's kind of a heavy floral that will last all day. It's playful yet sexy for ladies. It gives me the vibe that she can have you if she wants you, but on her time 😉. All jokes aside, the fruity opening is beautiful and that peony into the heart notes is so smooth and not overly cloying in the heat. I do get a slighty woody drydown but honestly the musk is most noticeable to my nose. I wore this a few times and layered it with my fragrances. Depending on the setting; men, you can pull this off 💯.

Since she has maybe a month worth of sprays left,
she wanted to purchase it again but the asking price is very outrageous these days.😮💨
So I did some research (Google search) and I found a clone of Fleur Narcotique on Amazon and it's between $20 and $30. The clone is by Maison Alhambra. I wouldn't pay more than that for the clone. ***There are other houses that clone this fragrance beautifully. But they are harder to identify at times.

Anyway, ladies get the clone because it's 95% the same and it's just as good performance wise. It's still fruity, heavy, sexy and long lasting. The only major difference to me is that the clone has a way more wooden maybe like a slight sweet tree bark smell in the drydown; and the men can probably pull off the clone a bit better if they want to wear it. She likes the clone better now because of the price.

If you find the original at a reasonable price and you don't like clones. Go for it. But I wouldn't want you all wasting your money to seek out the original.

It truly is crazy how close they smell.

good!

You're a soldier of the North Song Dynasty in 1099, stationed along the coast of Guangdong (China). In the peaceful, scientific era of gunpowder and inventions, you simply aren't interested in any future wars, and you find yourself in hiding over at a nearby village, happily relaxing on a hill, looking out across the sea. Women are working in their gardens just yards away, tending to their flowers and singing over light gusts of wind, picking fresh lychee from their trees. You're charmed as a young girl walks up the hill and offers you some of the fresh fruit, and you smile, breathe in, absorb the serenity, and wonder if you're finally home. Nice

This scent is lychee, peony, jasmine and a hint of musk. It lasts until the next day, if I spray it in my hair-nape of the neck. It reminds me of Delina, PDM, without the sharpness of the rhubarb and much more subtle. It’s bright and juicy which delights you then pulls you in with the floral; not overpowering but still intoxicating. This is my signature daytime summer fragrance. “Summer breeze. Makes me feel fine. Rolling through the jasmine of my mind” *guitar solo* comes to mind, every time I smell this.

smells good

An absolutely lovely, bright, clean peachy-fruity floral. Well-rounded and nothing offensive in the composition to me--not soapy, not bitter, not tacky. It's an unmistakably fine fragrance.

At over $300 CDN for a little 50 ml bottle (1.7 oz), and bearing similarity to other fruity florals on the market now (albeit inferior ones), I'm not sure it's an expense I can justify. It does make me quite happy, though, and such impressive longevity! I'm surprised to find myself considering it.

UPDATE: After about 6 hours wearing it (with high body temperature), I did find the fruity sweetness distracting. My husband also commented several times that he hoped it would get more subtle very soon. It may have been my high body temperature that cooked the fruity-sweet notes--I'll try again on a cooler day.

UPDATE 2: Still mulling this over. Tried it on again. Still love it, but still the occasional sense of something not sitting well--strangely, I get the slightest nausea in waves. My husband (not knowing what I'm testing) once again grumbled it was s smell he couldn't ignore. I'm wondering if it's something in the compounds. And the longevity is certainly epic on this one!

UPDATE 3: Bought it!
