The Dior Homme Eau de Toilette is intriguingly powerful and appealingly fresh. Dior Homme holds the promise of an intensely woody masculinity that envelops and enfolds leaving a lasting impression.

"This new Dior Homme has an unmistakably virile signature that does not prevent it from developing tender sensual accents. It basically draws the portrait of a modern man." - François Demachy Dior Perfumer-Creator

Atlas Cedar blows its dry and subtly leathery warmth through the trail of Dior Homme. Combined with Vetiver it leads a polyphony of woods filled with tension and dialogue.

The Patchouli Heart is full and enveloping. It mingles with the virile woods to convey a caressing sensuality.

Dior Homme Eau de Toilette main accords

Native to India and Indonesia but also found in Haiti and on Reunion Island Vetiver is a perennial plant with an odorous root system. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation. The persistent accords of Vetiver are used in woody chypre and oriental compositions. Vetiver lavishes a boldly sophisticated base note on Dior Homme.

Dior Homme is a lovely fragrance that exudes a reserved attitude with woods and musk. Bergamot, elemi, cardamom, and pink pepper add a spicy note to the scent's head. The earthy core consists of cashmere wood, Atlas cedar, and patchouli. The base has warm chords of vetiver, white musk, and iso E super.

smells good

Classy and sophisticated, it is a modern-day masterpiece. This smells like a well put together man. Versatile and a dumb reach in every situation and season. Can't recommend it enough.

smells fantastic

People need to get over themselves. This stuff smells fantastic. Yes, DH 2020 is not reinventing the wheel nor is it a unique masterpiece of artistic expression. However, it does what it aims to do and that is to be an easy to wear and versatile fragrance. No matter how much you like iris or niche perfumery, we all should have at least a few non-challenging and mass-appealing fragrances in our collections.

beautiful

It's a shame this isn't being reviewed on its own merits by the community. Instead, people are voting "dislike" not because they actually dislike the fragrance, but because of the change alone. I mean, I get it, they should have used a different name. But let's not review the marketing. Let's review the FRAGRANCE.

This is not meant to be an artistic statement. This is meant to smell damn good and sell. Same as Sauvage, and no one in the community has a problem there. Here's the thing: this is a compliment monster. I get more compliments with this than I do Sauvage and Aventus. It lasts forever. It's such as easy, versatile fragrance. Perfect for the office. Perfect dumb reach. Not a lot of people are wearing this. It's inexpensive. It smells better than Sauvage. This is a NO BRAINER. The community will come around, like it always does. 9/10 people in the comments saying this smells bad are outright lying because they're upset. Objectively, this smells good. Try it for yourself and don't let yourself compare it to Dior Homme Original. This is not that. That one is gone.
