amazing

Amazing!!! What a great fragrance and possibly the best progression of any Creed. In this regard it reminds me of bois du Portugal the way the notes change throughout.
Starts out with a blast of lemon and bergamot citrus which settles into a gorgeous juicy and long lasting mandarin orange note which is spiced with the roughness of ginger and dry yet refreshing tea in the heart. It then drys down after several hours to a tobacco and amazing leather which is not totally unexpected but really took me by surprise as it's not that evident in the first few hours.
I'd read lots of lacklustre reviews about Tabarome not being as good as the original and all of that but who cares? I've never tried the vintage Tabarome and judging by how rare and expensive it is I probably never will, all I know is that this is yet another classic men's fragrance from Creed.
Fresh, classic, long lasting what's not to like about this? My favourite Creed keeps changing and now this one is in the running.

good!

Tabarome isn’t about being bold and your scent projecting into the next room. It’s about being seen as a gentleman and projecting class.

smelling nice

I’ve tried most Creeds (GIT, Aventus, SMW, Erolfa, BDP, Himalaya, Green Valley (RIP), Original Santal, Original Vetiver, Viking, VIW, Millesime Imperial, Spice and Wood, Acier Aluminium and many more), and I must say that Tabarome Millesime is in my opinion the most underrated and ‘slept-on’ of the Creeds.

I tried this probably a year or two ago, and dismissed it as an old fashioned ‘mature’ fragrance, designed for retired gentlemen in autumn (fall) and winter - I was so wrong!!

In the local shopping centre (House Of Fraser) I went to try out a few new frags. Not being all that impressed, I wondered over to the Creed stand and sighed as I still had not found a Creed that seemed right for me. I sprayed some Bois Du Portugal on one strip and some Tabarome Millesime on another and was about to walk out the shop when I realised there was something very magnetic about the Tabarome - I went back to spray on skin, and throughout the day, I kept coming back to that spot on my skin over and over again! I’ve since bought a decent which arrived today

So the first thing I truly get (marketing and name/supposed history of the fragrance aside), is a big, sharp, sour and sweet grapefruit in all its deliciousness - zesty rind included. Bergamot and ginger perhaps fuel this grapefruit image.
Then a fresh, fresh and herbal tobacco which is subtle and has that refreshing Creed brightness. Then the ‘ambergris’ which at all times mellows and softens and supports so well.

The biggest factor I could attribute to the difference between first impression a year ago, and this reintroduction, apart from my tastes perhaps developing, is the fact that I am wearing this in the high heat, and it feels like a different fragrance completely.

I think I may have stumbled upon my ‘signature’ Creed fragrance. Clearly (and surprisingly) suitable in the hotter months. I will check how it does when the temperature drops.

25 year old man from the UK for context (relating to this being a mature fragrance - it is much more universal)

Beautiful

Beautiful fragrance, quite different from the new pungent tobacco releases on the market. Has the subtle and classy Creed DNA, very smooth with no rough edges. not mass appealing but very elegant like many creations from the house.

Very good

Tabarome Millesime is one of the most underrated Creeds, and at first sniff it's easy to understand why. If you are use to the intense green of Orignal Vetiver and Green Irish Tweed or the bombastic pineapple of Aventus, this one will come across as a bit reserved.

Tabarome needs time to unfold. The more I wear this, the more I understand how well made this one is. Granted, this is by no means the greatest tobacco scent ever. Do not buy this, and expect a tobacco bomb.

Instead the focus is on citrus and ginger in the opening. It lacks the typical Creed zestiness in the citrus, but the ginger gives it a bit of texture.

The tobacco is always present, and smells like a nice sweeted tobacco, a bit like sniffing a Marlboro Red. The sandalwood and ambergris takes over in the basenotes, giving it a nice sweet warmth.

Longevity is reasonable. 5-6 hours with okay projection.

I'd say this one is year round. I am wearing it during the warm June days right now, and it works magnificently.
