The first spray hits you with bay leaves and bergamot, but no fig. The dry down is like smoking a cigar after being in a horse barn with hay bales all around. Not In a bad way, but then again, I love being around horses. A really elegant, perfume. Gives me EQUESTRIAN girl vibes. Clean, woodsy, fresh and warm at the same time. Very unique, deep and mysterious. I love to ride horses and this perfume reminds me of that. I can see why many don't like it. It's not for just anyone. It's bold, but if layered with the right perfume it can also be gourmand. I like to layer with Kayali Eden Apple. It's like shopping for the Holidays, while drinking an apple cinnamon latte on a cold day. It gives an OUTDOORS vibe, like picking out a real tree. Kissing under the mistletoe, fresh pine cones all over your home, drinking apple punch... Like riding your horse, close to sunset, during cold weather. The smell of your black riding boots, your horse, leather saddle, your natural scent and the amazing smell of your hair, blowing as you ride away. Giving your horse an APPLE because she was such a good girl. That's what it smells like to me. I also wear it when I'm all dressed up for a night out. I like wearing it alone but I'm a gourmand girl, so I love to layer it. This perfume is beautiful. One of my favorites from Le Labo. BISOUS
It’s a statement perfume - I don’t find if subtle or quiet at all. A strong character. She’s not girly or flirty, she likes to be noticed in a more serious way. The woody note with the black tea, and a little tobacco on the background, it makes me feel boujee and badass in control of my decision and my life. It’s acquired taste, was put off in the beginning when I was more into sweet fragrances and lighter tea scents. Now I have it and I have the yulong from Armani prive, I love the noir 10 times more. I finally understand this perfume, it’s a work of art！
Ok, ok, I see you Le Labo. I have of course tried your most popular fragrances and thought 'meh' but there's teeth here, I'll give you that.
I can almost immediately identify this scent memory for me. Have you ever played Manhunt/hide n seek at night, in the woods, in summer? Crouching down in the underbrush, the thick smell of trees and loam, with that electric ozone smell in the air like fresh rain or an oncoming thunderstorm? This is that in a bottle, and I freaking love it.
I'm so glad I took a shot on this one, I haven't purchased any from this house. Fresh, dark, clean. I also smell rose- but its like night-blooming rose or something- sweet and dark but there. Also feels like someone finally got tobacco right- like, seriously. Every other house wants to slap you in the face with it so it overpowers you- this is only there in the background- very faint and just slightly sexy. LOVE. Also finally a unisex fragrance done right and truly unisex. I would devour this on anyone.

although another 13 and santal 33 are the brand's most popular and talked about scents online, i think this is the actual le labo smell. this scent takes over a room. over the top, sweet, woody, nighttime hotgirl hotboy in the city darling. i dig it.
I walked in to meet a friend at the edition hotel in nyc. As I walked through the doors I was hit by the most mesmerizing smell that put me into a trance. Obviously the smell of the place put me into the best mood possible as it made me feel like I was in a fun, classy, exclusive place. When I left I asked the concierge what is the aroma in the air as it’s intoxicating and the most beautiful scent That’s ever hit my nose. They told me it was a signature scent from le labo. I went to a le labo store and told the gentleman I want whatever you put in the edition hotel. He said oh that the noir. I was like give me your biggest bottle. It’s a scent I want everywhere and now I can smell it all the time. I get stopped all the time because it’s something no one has smelled before and it’s so intoxicating and unique. If someone doesn’t like it I don’t care. I just want to enjoy the smell myself
