Masterpiece.

From the bunch of the three Chanel favorites of mine (Coco Mademoiselle, Allure EDP and Allure Sensuelle) Allure Sensuelle does not happen to be the top one!
Yet it is the one I receive literally tons of compliments; today I got seven!
Sensuelle is a powerful oriental juice, with sophisticated and warm woodsy base which is the moment well worth waiting for :-)
The opening is a floral fruity spicy combo, the heart is purely floral and the dry down is a definite Oscar winner; spices, sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli.
Sensuelle is deep, rich, classy and goes really strong.
The three sprays applied at 7;00am lasted on me until well after lunch.
My scarves and cardigans smell for days!
Sensuelle will make a perfect signature fragrance for a very confident and elegant lady.
Sensuelle is so far my best blind buy.
Masterpiece.

very impressed

I didn't expect this. Better than Allure, this is bright, charming, romantic, young but not innocent. The roses made my knees buckle. Warm, creamy, balanced, with a clean, bright opening. On me, more mandarin orange than peach, and no sour citrus note at all. A delectable, juicy orange. Calm, reflective florals, especially very soothing are lavender and lilac. Such a nice, well behaved jasmine.

The patchouli is right there from the opening to the finish, fair warning to the patchouli averse, but it is interesting to experience how differently the patchouli behaves paired with florals versus vanilla and sandalwood in the powdery finish. Warm, enveloping, with good projection and silage. My spouse walks in the door and says, what smells so good? Why honey that would be me!

Ironically, I was just cleaning out my "want" shelves, and took Chanel Allure Sensuelle OFF my want list, moving it to Test. This wasn't even on my top three to get for the year, this was really in my peripheral vision, not in my view at all, and now I am seriously smitten. Don't know how I ever got along without it.

I love the sultry smoky dry down, the deep woody powdery vibe. And a great vanilla, I am very impressed by the subtle vanilla, balanced by the sandalwood, and sweetened by the complex roses. Reminds me of Coco Noir, but more patchouli (yeah), and the incense makes Allure Sensuelle more Noir than Coco Noir. Highly recommended for patchouli lovers, rose aficionados and fearless perfumistas.

Allure Sensuelle is my second favorite Chanel fragrance (next to Coromandel)! It has the best dry down in the history of forever! The opening kinda makes me a little dizzy at first; but I am training my nose to embrace its punch more and more. The headache-inducing note is slowly being accepted in my system (thank heavens!). I am currently wearing this these days so that the person I like can remember me with this smell, and, I, too, could associate our memories (in my class) with this fragrance.

This fragrance is a patchouli monster, so if you are not into that note, best be off, dearie. This isn't for you. But you if you like a patchouli which isn't so earthy, then this is your gem. I really find patchouli so dynamic in all fragrance categories. The patchouli here is well-blended with the dried fruits it promises. It reminds me a little of YSL Elle, but this is more sophisticated-smelling than that Midnight Poison dupe. The opening and heart notes scream so loud; but the dry down is really heavenly. The Chanel sweetness comes out, and even though it is a bit closer to the skin, I can still smell it from my neck and clothes every time a get a whiff of myself.

Again, the opening might be a big punch on your face upon spraying, but, take it from me, this Jacques Polge masterpiece develops into the most alluring and sensual fragrance ever, so the name suggests.

P.S: The EDT version of this has more pink pepper and is more suitable for daytime usage. However, the EDP is much more magical than the EDT. I have both bottles, and each of them has its own persona. Incomparable, distinctive, pure .

smells good

Allure Sensuelle nears the midpoint of Coco and Allure. The spices are reminiscent of Coco's characteristic clove, which is not like real clove but a thing unto itself. It's undeniably Chanel. Add some earthy florals and a mysterious vanilla, and you have Allure Sensuelle. The vanilla keeps it grounded, keeps it from flying in your face. It's one of the last complex fragrances produced in the 21st century; by that I mean it has a long, carefully crafted list of notes working in harmony, as well as a certain 90s sophistication about it. I'm afraid it came out too late to achieve huge success, but I still appreciate what a great piece it is and am happy to add it to my curated collection. And what a beautiful bottle! I prefer the classic Chanel apothecary bottles, but I make exception for this luxe, chic gold-and-purple bottle. Longevity and sillage of the fragrance are quite good, too.

Love it

Allure sensuelle,my only chanel in my collection of fragrances I love.

It is warm,balsamic,slightly spicy,floral,and vanilla.
Longevity is a good 8 hours and sillage is beyond arm length, she will captivate people around you.Men love her!

It is a masterpiece in my eyes, and for me It has that one of chanel fragrances on the sideline, while coco mademoiselle takes centre stage.

However although coco mademoiselle may take centre stage, allure sensuelle steals the show for me,and deserves an encore.

Let us not forget her.....
