A very intense sensual feminine fragrance. Candied roses and peach nectar ,very luxirous and adult like. This perfume is classy and sexy all at once. It's also highly addictive after trying a sample I literally ran out to the store to get it.
I like dark Jammy Rose perfumes , I like how it still smells fresh and soapy despite it's dark sweet character.
Francis Kurkdjaian has an incredible nose and talent , made some of my favourite perfumes including the original Narciso.
This isn't just your sweet fruity little number. This perfume has femme fatale , it's a little black dress fragrance or a power suit perfume not for the faint. It is a sweet , strong adult candied rose that will turn some heads and has character .

Update , amazing classic scent, brings to mind other patchouli amber fragrances like coco, coromandel and Prada amber. This is sweeter and concetrates around rose.
Wow, I really love this Burberry! It's thick, resinous and dark, right up my alley. I usually can't do many of Burberry's perfumes because they are overloaded with peach and apricot, two notes that when combined in large doses, do horrible things on my skin. Brit and Rhythm are two of my faves, and now this one can be added to the list.
I get the peach note in this, but the amber and patchouli darken it up and keep it from being too fruity. I do get nuances of rose, but the jasmine is non-existent on me. The name suits this one too; it's indeed a darker scent. I agree that it has a vintage appeal about it as well. Sillage is very strong with this one. I had sprayed my wrist and a card too. Even after several hand washings, I could still smell it. The card I can still smell about two feet from me and that's been 16 hours ago. Well done Burberry!
My Burberry Black goes on strong, but finishes heavenly. This is one of those perfumes that I get intoxicated when I smell it and I savor its dry down. It's sexy, sophisticated and sweet. I smell its lingering fragrance for weeks in my closet after I've worn it -- and that is a good thing for me. Wow -- love it!
This feels so luxurious it even changes my mood! Everything from the weight of the glass to the details of the bow, the lid. Not even talking about that juice, delicious oriental and pure class. It lasts for hours and hours, two sprays is more than enough! LOVE
