Description
A light-filled fragrance, Returns to the Roots opens with fresh floral breezes that whisper of purity and simplicity. As the scent evolves, green and woody undertones emerge, deep and grounding, evoking a connection to ancient forests and sacred spaces. Soft musk and warm sandalwood create an enveloping sense of peace, making this a fragrance of stillness and contemplation.
A moment of grace captured in scent, this is an invitation to breathe, reflect, and reconnect—a reminder that sometimes, the most profound journeys begin when we simply return to the roots.

Beautiful fougère-chypre perfume. I've known the brand for a long time, but I couldn't make friends with any of their fragrances. However, there is still something that attracts me in their rather restrained, but simple style. This handsome boy is a logical continuation of London Funk and 125th&Bloom, but for me it is much more wearable (in case of the first one) and much more interesting (in case of the second one).
Now on the merits. Austere, green, dry, bitter. The greenery on my hot skin feels like it's sugarcoating a bit, giving way to a dry, brackish wood. The composition sounds smooth and natural. Reminiscent of "old school" and that's a plus. In windy February is very beautiful and noble. Holds up very decently, pulsing and playing notes. In general, it is in my soul🖤
I got my Roots since last month and could not stop feeling them all around me, even if I was wearing another frag from time to time. I love the mix of iris (or violets?) with something herbal, woody and spicy (ginger? clove?). To me, it is an unusual and intriguing scent perfect for outdoors.
