A Gloaming Night Eau de Parfum GUCCI main accords The Alchemist's Garden collection now includes the Gloaming Night Eau de Parfum. The fragrance, an emotion caught in a bottle, pays tribute to the ephemeral moment between dusk and evening. Inspired by the hues of stunning sunsets, the notes of A Gloaming Night work together, wrapping around one another to create a distinct aroma—just as the stripes of pink, purple, peach, and red fade into deeper tones along the horizon. The customized pieces, created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas under the creative guidance of Alessandro Michele, are made of Eaux de Parfum, perfumed oils, and acque profumate (meaning "scented waters"). The line is inspired by alchemy and fragrance-making and is designed to be layered and blended to create a one-of-a-kind, individualized fragrance experience. Each perfume is based on a hero ingredient tied to the House's particular codes and can be intensified, muted, or mixed with other aromas in the collection to produce a one-of-a-kind sillage.

This one is outstanding, and everything I "hoped" The Last Day of Summer would be when I purchased them together. With a large collection I grow tired of the typical floral/sweet/gourmand/woody tones that I consider safe and mass appealing. I'm always on the lookout for something unique that will stand out and give me a moments pause when I apply. I will admit this and others like that will not be everyone's cup of tea, but for ME it's more about the experience and having gentle reminders throughout the day that what I'm wearing isn't like anything else I can smell on others around me. This is an Oriental base with just the right amount of sweetness. For what it's worth I feel this bares no resemblance to Gris Dior which is another favorite of mine.

great perfume

Such a great perfume. I can smell each note, but the cinnamon ties everything together in this kind of earthy, kind of sweet mix that really is something so unique and special. I just used up the last of my small decant of this, but I’m currently sitting, sniffing myself, enjoying this last hurrah of A Gloaming Night because I’ll probably never get a chance to smell it again. Completely unisex, moderate longevity and sillage. Very worth getting your nose on.

Unexpected beast mode

Unexpected beast mode. For at least a few hours I could smell a cloud of it around me. It's a lovely scent but I would keep in mind that projection may be too strong for daytime wear. The patchouli comes through very strong and beautifully with a warm sweetness to it from the cinnamon.

Love!

Tried this at the local store. Love it. It’s sweeter than expected and that’s good. Can’t stand vetiver being too dry. Easy to wear. Should be able to layer with leather nicely. Love the red bottle.

very unique smell

very unique smell, i can't tell if i like it or not. perfect for an overcast cold fall day tho. smells very wet forest/swamp-like....i imagine this is what an ogre would smell like. drydown is veryyyy nice
