An instantly impressionable signature scent.
Born from the perfumer Maison Francis Kurkdjian's mastery and time-based wisdom, Baccarat Rouge 540 is composed of three breaths that capture the fragrance's power and true radiance. Jasmine Grandiflorum from Egypt evokes the skilful hand that picked the flower to the one that transformed it into an absolute, while Moroccan bitter almond and ambergris soften on contact with a woody musk accord.
- Top note: Jasmine grandiflorum from Egypt and saffron
- Middle note: bitter almond from Morocco and cedar wood
-
Base note: Woody Musk Accord and ambergris

Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de parfum enhances the strength and luminosity of the Eau de Parfum's three breaths while remaining true to its original inspiration.
This Extrait de parfum is the climax of the perfumer's talent and time-tested wisdom, according to Francis Kurkdjian.
Top notes of Egyptian jasmine Grandiflorum subtly emphasize the breath of competence, recalling both the skilled hand that gathered the flower and the one that converted it into an absolute.
The powdery, gourmand characteristics of Moroccan bitter almond essential oil, produced using an ancestral process, intensify the breath of fire. Finally, the metallic breath based on ambergris softens when in touch with a woody musk accord.

What strikes me the most about Baccarat Rouge 540 is the contrasting elements, it’s weightless yet profound scent profile, translucent yet gigantic in the way in which it presents itself while suspended in the air, Baccarat packs such a punch that it’s olfactive ghost can only be described as everlasting.
The scent is mostly built around synthetics unfolding on first blast with a duality of saffron jasmine, and dominant ambroxan and evernil, each of these being isolated molecules of ambergris and oakmoss, but beautifully layered in Kurkdjian’s style, utilizing skillful blending techniques.
The genius blend rests on a sweet vanilla woody ambery base that displays a dry character, reminiscent to norlimbanol molecule (firmenich)
As for Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait, this formulation particularly wows me the most, as everything that made it’s predecessor special and unique is carefully treated here and perfected with silky smooth transitions, added nutty almondy effect and sweeter tones.
Baccarat Rouge is the blueprint of a master perfumer, a man gifted with talent, Kurkdjian is a master at his craft, and his capabilities of creating memorable olfactive portraits goes beyond naturals or synthetics.
I swear this was discovered on the moon and made from space crystals.
This is an experience and I’m fully immersed. Like a Hans Zimmer song from Interstellar.
Wear this and you are a gravitational force that pulls everything, eyes, smiles, compliments, love, lust. It can do anything you want it to do. Careful, you are now renowned and exclusive.
Ugh, absolutely love this. This is better than the EDP. The almond note brings depth that the EDP doesn't have.
I just know I smell good when I wear this because my eyes roll into the back of my head when I smell myself and get compliments from complete strangers.
52 hours longevity on my skin and I'm not even kidding.
I sprayed this once on my wrist on January 16th at 2 pm. Today is January 18th 6 pm and I can still smell this... and not even a faint smell reminiscent of it, it's still going strong oh my lord.
I can't even imagine how this would stay on my clothes... maybe that's what I should do. Spray my sample on my suits and have them smell like BR540 extrait untill 2020
