If you prefer something bolder, such as one of the top oud perfumes, this smell is unlikely to suit you. Our only caveat is that the scent's durability is mild, so moisturize your skin before spritzing it on to increase its staying power.

Dior's alcohol-free version of their popular J'adore fragrance is a crowd favorite. We know we say it a lot, but this fragrance has a broad appeal. It's light (far lighter than the original), creamy, and refreshing, with a lovely petal aroma of delicate white florals (neroli, jasmine sambac, and magnolia) and refreshing green undertones. Overall, the perfume is elegant and classy, and it reminds us of how fresh we feel after a shower. This smell is not overbearing and was made without alcohol (a first for Dior), so it lacks the original strong alcohol aroma. Instead, you're met with a flowery freshness that lingers on your skin for three to four hours before transitioning to a clean skin aroma. "This is a true ode to the white flowers of J'adore, in a fresh and spontaneous interpretation," explains Francois Demachy, the nose behind the fragrance.
Dior Vanilla Diorama Eau de Parfum

Dior perfumer-creator Francois Demachy created an aquatic perfume that uses sea salt and mineral ingredients to recreate the aroma of warm, salty air.As it develops on the skin, you'll notice a suntan lotion aroma from the jasmine and coconut. This is a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys traditional flower fragrances. In terms of wearability, we can envision this on a breezy summer night, spritzed onto a billowy outfit. This is a lovely scent that will bring you many compliments. The only drawback? In comparison to other Dior perfumes we've tried (and listed here), the longevity is short, lasting only a few hours. We recommend sprinkling it on your hair and clothes for a longer-lasting scent.

"It is, in a way, the olfactory expression of Beauty and the Beast," he goes on to say. Honeyed amber is warm, while Turkish rose is delicate and silky. Together, these leading components scent sweet, musky, spicy, and fresh, making it an ideal year-round fragrance.
Dior Dune Eau de Toilette

Dune, released in 1991, is a timeless classic that contrasts the conventional aquatic smells of the period. The brand desired a unique marine fragrance-free of the typical characteristics associated with sea scents (such as melon and cucumber). Instead, the three perfumers behind this fragrance used zesty citruses, white florals, and warm woods to create a marine scent that smells more like hot sand than ocean air. Dune is completely distinct, making it difficult to express in words. At first, we were struck by the powerful aroma of white flowers (peony, lily, rose, and jasmine). While this was pleasant, we didn't get the beachy, Mediterranean feel. We couldn't really appreciate the intricacy of this smell until it had settled on our skin. The dry-down is warm, calming, and earthy, evoking scorching desert sands and a hint of salty air. This perfume is ideal for the summer and should be tried on the skin before being left for an hour or so to fully develop.
